After-Hours Access to Math Library
Graduate students who have passed the Qualifying Exams and submitted the D1 form will now be able to obtain afterhours access to the Mathematical Sciences Library. Students who are granted after hours access are expected to abide by the following rules.
- All library materials removed from the library outside of normal operating hours must be recorded on the "After Hours Checkout Form" on the counter near the library door. To remove a book, enter your printed name, book title, call number, and barcode number (affixed on a sticker usually inside the back cover) on the checkout form.
- After hours library access is granted only to faculty, post-docs and doctoral candidates. Do not allow any afterhours access to anyone who is not in one of these groups. (For example: Do not use the library as a place for students to take an exam after hours!!!!)
- The door to the library should never be propped open.
- Access behind the counter is strictly prohibited.
To obtain access fill out the Library Access Form and submit it to the DGS. Access will be reviewed and renewed annually, and failure to follow the above rules will result in immediate revocation of afterhours library privileges.
