The Department of Mathematics is glad to announce the induction of its own math Directed Reading Program (DRP). The goal of the DRP is to pair motivated/interested undergraduates and early graduate students with experienced graduate student mentors to conduct semester long independent study projects through one-on-one weekly meetings. The program is motivated towards the goal of introducing the mentees to digestible portions of higher mathematics as a way to prepare them towards success in graduate school. The program is open to undergraduate and early graduate students of all majors.

For the Spring 2024 semester, interested applicants can apply for the DRP by filling out this google form, or by utilizing the "How do I apply" tab in the website. The deadline to apply for the Spring 2024 semester is Jan 23 2024 by 11:59PM.
