If you are an international student who does not qualify for the Teaching Assistantship Program, there are two ways a student can be supported.
- The Mathematics Department may choose to offer students a fellowship for one year while the student prepares for the required language assessment . This can possibly be extended to a second year if the student passes all their qualifying exams.
- The student pays for their own tuition, or is paid by a scholarship from their government. If you are a self-supported student, please state clearly in your personal statement on your application.
