Kristina Hahn has more than 20 years of experience teaching mathematics at the secondary and university levels. She earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and her Masters and Educational Specialist degrees from the University of Missouri. She first taught at the University of Missouri as a graduate teaching assistant from 2001 to 2003 while earning her Master's degree. Before returning to the university in 2023, she taught high school and dual-credit mathematics and served as an adjunct mathematics instructor at Central Methodist University. She currently coordinates Finite Mathematics and co-coordinates College Algebra. Her teaching and research interests include active learning, high-structure course design, gateway-course reform, and graduate teaching assistant development.
