The Mathematics Department is proud to announce that Professor Loukas Grafakos has been named a member of the 2025 class of American Mathematical Society Fellows. This highly prestigious program recognizes mathematicians "...who have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics."  Professor Grafakos currently holds a Curators' Distinguished Professorship at Mizzou.
