Professor Hema Srinivasan from the Mathematics Department has been invited by the President of the American Mathematical Society to join the 2018 class of Fellows of the American Mathematical Society.  Professor Srinivasan was chosen for this honor in view of her distinguished contributions to mathematics.

The Fellows of the American Mathematical Society program recognizes members who have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics.
